Twenty four meetings and events were facilitated in August by Community Partners, including neighborhood business walks, block club meetings and youth led events. The National Night Out events held across the city in coordination with the Milwaukee Police Department, Sheriff’s Department, other law enforcement and residents, were a great success. This is a yearly effort which involves long term planning and collaboration to involve residents in an effort to improve police-community relations.
