VIDEO: Southside Community Walk
This YouTube video shows residents, business owners, and law enforcement on a nieghborhood walk organized by Safe Place youth and Community Partner Maria Sandoval. The walk was part of the the United Community Center’s Crime Strategy Initiative project and reslted in the first “YCAM.” A youth led crime analysis meeting that brought together youth, residents and officials from across the city to disucss the issues associated with crime in the neighborhood. MATA Community TV produced the video with a group of teens from their training program.
