The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a religious organization, international in its scope, with branches in over 193 countries around the world. As part of Black History Month, the Community presented awards to 11 individuals whose dedication, contributions and achievements exemplify the standards of excellence. These contributions are recognized as a service to humanity as well as a service to the community.

Mr. Rose Pritchett job is to service the community and he does it well. He has been a community organizer with Safe & Sound for ten years. Prior to Safe & Sound he attended Mississippi Valley State University majoring in physical education and played professional basketball in Europe and South America during the late 1980’s and 1990’s. During the last four years he has been an assistant coach for the men’s basketball program at Cardinal Stritch University and prior to that worked for the YMCA Parklawn branch for five years. We congratulate Rose and appreciate his contributions and wisdom to Safe & Sound and the community he serves.
