Milwaukee Homicide Review Community Presentation Roll Out

The Milwaukee Homicide Review Commission (MHRC) is offering a community presentation for interested groups. The presentation lasts about 20 minutes followed by a Q&A session. They also provide data specific to the geographic area that the attendees are interested in, such as a Safe Place or block club. As part of the presentation, the MHRC will be soliciting community feedback, input and recommendations.

The Milwaukee Homicide Review Commission (MHRC) is a multi-level, multi-disciplinary, and multi-agency homicide review process aimed at reducing the occurrence of homicides in Milwaukee. The MHRC creates an environment for many disciplines and agencies to share information and work collectively on violence prevention strategies. Safe & Sound has been an active participant and contributor to the MHRC at all levels since its inception. The data, information, and strategies that have resulted have benefitted Safe & Sound immensely. The presentation provides a forum for other audiences that can also benefit from the years of research and findings of the Commission.
