Community Action Projects in Full Bloom

Everyone should see the TMJ4 Positively Milwaukee segment by Carole Meekins highlighting the Community Action Project at 29th & Melvina : Playground Comes Alive

“Now that signs of neglect are paved with pride, residents of all ages living near 29th and Melvina have reasons to rejoice.”

The Community Action Projects this summer continue to inspire as children enjoy their new surroundings. Carole Meekins is also working on another potential story regarding the community garden developed at 24th Place and Keefe Avenue where a neighborhood eyesore (and site of tragic violence) stood just months ago. The before and after pictures give you an idea of what can happen when our community comes together.
