Nuisance Properties Posed Real Problems for Group of Sherman Park Residents

The process of working with residents and city resources to find solutions for the criminal nuisance issues took real persistence. To date, only one of the board ups is empty and quiet. The other house was in the process of being rehabbed and a nice family recently moved in.

Safe & Sound is an integral part of the Milwaukee Reality Check Coalition which focuses on reducing youth access to alcohol and drugs. The Coalition developed a website and just recently created a Facebook page to reach yet another segment of the Milwaukee Community.
