Today, U.S. Senators Herb Kohl and Russ Feingold announced that the Office of National Drug Control Policy has included Rock and Brown Counties to be designated as part of the Milwaukee High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA), which is one of the three prongs of the Safe & Sound strategy.

Every April, Safe & Sound coordinates with the Department of Neighborhood Services, Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful, Marquette University, law enforcement and a host of resident groups to organize numerous neighborhood block beautification events and neighborhood block parties.
