Neighorhood cleanups

Safe & Sound clean-ups involve residents, block clubs, organizations and/or churches from a priority neighborhood that designates an area to clean up. The clean-up can be around parks, resident blocks, vacant lots, or any other outdoor spaces. Neighborhood clean-ups can also be an aspect of a larger event, which allows participants to engage in making the neighborhood a cleaner and safer place to live. Furthermore, the community organizer helps facilitate clean-ups with churches or organizations by providing supplies and support. Similarly, they provide support, supplies and training to residents and block clubs on the first several clean-ups. Lastly, the organizer will assist residents in planning future clean-ups.
