Safe & Sound offers fee-for-service technical assistance to organizations, police departments, and municipalities interested in implementing creative and collaborative public safety solutions. Utilizing years of effective community engagement and cross-sector partnerships, Safe & Sound Technical Assistance operates as a force multiplier for community leaders. We have the time, energy and expertise to conduct interviews, research best practices, create a menu of implementation services and possible approaches, coach leadership and distil our findings into recommendations for next steps.

Each city, town, and neighborhood are different. As such, Safe & Sound’s Technical Assistance program operates under two important assumptions: 1. There are no cookie-cutter solutions. Effective programs are tailored to the goals and challenges of the community they serve. 2. Local expertise is critical to success. Area residents, organizations, and institutions are the area experts. A fresh set of eyes and a different perspective can be a catalyst to activate that expertise. Safe & Sound Technical Assistance engages our clients in a problem-solving process based on our years of community and law enforcement engagement to leverage local expertise to develop relevant local solutions.

Safe & Sound envisions a safe neighborhood for everyone. If you are interested in Safe & Sound Technical Assistance, please contact Bree Spencer, Director of Evaluation & Technical Assistance at 414.221.6701 or bspencer@safesound.org
